Lincoln University Athletics Renews Partnership with Game Plan

This fall, Lincoln University renewed its partnership with Game Plan to support their athletics initiatives to best prepare Lion athletes to Learn, Liberate and Lead.

To help enhance the student-athlete experience, Lincoln Athletics will engage its student-athletes with courses provided through the Game Plan platform including curriculum on personal and professional development, financial literacy, mental health, and much more. These are deployed strategically by class year to meet students where they are and enhance their skill sets for their unique development journey. With the continuously changing landscape of college athletics, it is important to make sure the student-athletes are educated as well as prepared for all that’s to come within their daily lives in and out of sport.

“Game Plan has helped us tremendously through providing online programming to educate our student-athletes in areas of career, financial literacy, personal development, and social awareness. We re-signed with Game Plan to continue the holistic growth of our student-athletes, staff, and coaches towards the University mission of Learn, Liberate and Lead.”

Lincoln has also added Game Plan’s branded solution, which will provide them the opportunity to create a unique career marketplace for their student-athletes as well as launch a mentorship program to engage their student-athletes and alumni. Through these tools offered on Game Plan, Lincoln Athletics will be able to continue the development of their student-athletes, staff, and coaches.

“Game Plan has been a huge asset to our department and the development of our student athletes. Keith Merritt has done an exceptional job of implementing the program and challenging our department to actively participate. We are excited to continue with Game Plan and reach higher limits,” says Interim Athletic Director Joshua Dean.

“We’re very proud to extend our partnership with Lincoln University,” says Ted White, Game Plans Vice President of Collegiate Partnerships. “It’s an honor to work with passionate student-athlete advocates like Joshua and Keith, and to be in position to play a role in Learning, Liberating, and Leading alongside the Lions.”

Game Plan is looking forward to the continued partnership with Lincoln Athletics and can’t wait to see what’s to come for them as a partner.
