The Youngstown State Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has partnered with Game Plan in an effort to engage its student-athletes through various educational and developmental curricula.
To help enhance the student-athlete experience, YSU will engage its student-athletes through courses provided through the Game Plan platform including curriculum on personal and professional development, financial literacy, social media education, and much more.
Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Ron Strollo said adding Game Plan to YSU’s diverse programming foundation is something that will benefit the entire department, but most significantly impact the nearly 600 Penguins student-athletes.
We always strive to provide the best resources for our student-athletes and Game Plan is a tremendous asset they can use while at YSU to have success on campus and once they leave our great institution. We look forward to the upcoming year with Game Plan and having our student-athletes utilize their vast network of resources.
